Keep knocking. The door will be opened. You will receive your answer if you refuse to give up. Jesus emphasized the importance of persistence in prayer with a story of a man who received unexpected visitors at night. The man went to his friend’s house to borrow bread to feed his guests. His friend did not at last heed his request because of their friendship but because of the man’s shameless persistence. Be aggressive with your faith. Persistence in prayer works!

Do you want a miracle from God? Be aggressive with your faith. Never give up. Like the widow woman before the unjust judge, keep on asking until your request has been granted. The widow woman refused to take no for an answer. And though the judge did not care about people, he gave her what she wanted because she was wearing him out. Jesus said, “So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly!” Keep believing. Your answer will come!
