Elisha’s servant was frightened by the troops, but Elisha told him not to be afraid. “They that be with us are more than they that be with them.” God opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw that the Syrian army was surrounded by an army of horses and chariots of fire. Put your trust in God. He is your number one protector.

Satan’s Plan Has Failed Again

Saul had been a fierce enemy of the Christians, but Jesus appeared to him on the road to Damascus, and Saul was converted. Immediately, Saul began preaching in the synagogues that Jesus was the Son of God. The Jews could not refute him, so they plotted to kill him, but Satan’s plan had failed again. Saul was warned of their scheme, and he was let down over the city wall in a basket.

Blessed in the Presence of Your Enemies

It was the Sabbath, and Jesus noticed a man with a deformed hand. Jesus’s enemies watched Him closely. If He healed the man, they would accuse Him of working on the Sabbath, which was against their law. Looking at His opposers with anger and sadness, Jesus asked them if it was lawful to do good on the Sabbath or evil. They refused to answer, so Jesus told the man with the withered hand to stretch it out. He obeyed and his hand was restored. God performed a miracle right the in presence of Jesus's enemies.

It’s Time to Move On

Do not surround yourself with people who do not have faith in the power of God. These people will quench the fire of the Holy Spirit upon your life. You need to do like Jesus and move on. Jesus once went to a synagogue in Nazareth, and the people wanted to push Him over the cliff. But He passed right through them and went to Capernaum where He healed a demon-possessed man. The people were amazed, and Jesus’s fame spread to every village in the region.
